GEORGIA VOTERS APPEAR TO SEND SENATOR REVEREND RAPHAEL WARNOCK TO A RUNOFF: FAMILY FRIENDLY ACTION PAC WILL INVEST ADDITIONAL $3.1 MILLION TO ELECT THIS CHAMPION OF WORKING FAMILIES

Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock Appears Headed to a December 6 Runoff on Platform of Delivering Relief for Working Families

Family Friendly Action PAC Will Spend $3.1 Million On Voter Contact During the Runoff

Atlanta, GA – The Family Friendly Action PAC pledges to keep fighting for Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock, who ran on a platform of lowering costs for families by addressing the rising cost of child care, capping the cost of prescription drugs for our seniors and passing paid family and medical leave, as he appears headed to a December 6 runoff. Sen. Rev. Warnock currently leads his opponent in total votes cast.

The Family Friendly Action PAC ran a $2.4 million voter contact program across North and Metro Atlanta during the general election that included robust investments in door-to-door canvassing as well as a mail program that reached over 100,000 households. In total, Family Friendly Action PAC had 40,507 unique conversations with voters in Georgia this cycle and knocked on 242,196 doors.

From now until the runoff, Family Friendly Action PAC will spend $3.1 million on a mix of field and mail programming, highlighting the stark differences between Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock and his opponent.

“Georgia voters want leaders who will prioritize the issues that are most important to their families, including safe and reliable child care, purchasing life-saving prescription medicines, buying food and gas and caring for elderly family members. They want leaders who understand the struggles of Georgia families and who have a clear plan to create opportunities for all of our communities to thrive,” said Keauna Gregory, Georgia state director for the Family Friendly Action PAC. “Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock is campaigning on lowering costs for families – an issue that we know is top of mind for voters. I’m optimistic about the outcome of the runoff and I look forward to speaking with as many Georgia voters as we can over the coming days.”

Recently, the Family Friendly Action PAC released a storybook highlighting the role lowering costs and passing care policies plays for voters in battleground states including Georgia.
